A small crew that answers its own phone
Sycamore Wash Plumbing started in 2011 with one van and a rule: the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
Ruben Castañeda has been plumbing in the east Valley for over twenty years, first for a big shop in Van Nuys and then on his own. He started Sycamore Wash after watching too many customers get a low phone quote and a high final bill.
Today the crew is four licensed techs and one dispatcher. We keep the service area to about a 20-minute drive from Burbank so that a two-hour arrival window means two hours.

- California CSLB C-36 Plumbing, #0000000 (demo number). Check any contractor at cslb.ca.gov.
- Insurance
- General liability and workers' compensation for every technician.
- Warranty
- One year on our labor, in writing. Manufacturer warranties on parts are registered in your name.
- Permits
- We pull city permits for water heaters, gas lines and repipes, and meet the inspector.
- Payment
- Card, check or cash when the job is done. No deposit for repairs.
